Richard Smith
An MSc sports science and coaching post graduate, Richard's raced around the world over all distances up to Ironman, and coached/tutored on numerous training camps, coaching workshops and seminars.
Richard has worked with thousands of open water swimmers over the years at Vobster and currently runs the SW Junior Development squad.
Richard is Level 3 BTF qualified.
Jodie Swallow
A Sport Science Graduate , Olympian and IM Champion, Jodie represented GBR as a swimmer before she raced as a professional triathlete for seventeen years. She retired in 2017 and started her family with fellow professional triathlete and GTN presenter James Cunnama. She has been coaching triathletes 1-2-1 since 2016 , runs Swallows Triathlon and now works as Lead Coach for the SC Triathlon Academy for BTF.
Jodie always swam in the front pack of ITU and led all her Ironman swims.. She often headed up the fields by minutes including a dive to finish line lead when she won her three Professional World Titles in the Sport. She understands swimming and stroke mechanics and specifically how to convert them into the open water effectively.
Jodie is Level 3 BTF qualified.

A post swim question, answer debrief.

The workshop will be unique, highly informative and enjoyable for all levels of open water swimmer. Though Richard and Jodie are both highly qualified and work with some very fast athletes their ability and enthusiasm to work with all levels is apparent.
Whether this is your 1st time in Open Water or your 1000th exposure they have the skills, compassion and passion to help you tackle your goals in open water.
Cost of the session is £45 inclusive of facility and coaching costs.
