Remote Swim Technique Analysis

Attending a swim clinic at Bath is a very special experience and seeing my clients swim gives valuable insight and connection into technique approach. However not everyone can make it to Bath logstically, financially or geographically.

I am now offering swim technique analysis from your own recorded film. The process will feature voiceover analysis, explanation and extensive recommendation of drill and cue work as well as a written report with examples and explanation to expand your understanding and methods of technique aquisition.

Video and voiceover to your device. Some swim analysis use technology to flash up many points of technical error. Reports can be ridiculously intricate and potentially irrelevant to faster swimming. Over analysis is as bad as none. I identify the top three aspects of technique to concentrate on correcting in sequential order. I do not overwhelm. Analysis is clear, concise and actionable on your own.
Timely delivery within 3 days of receiving videos. Feedback is viewable before each session and drills are layed out in order to action within swim sessions.

Step 1

Sign up for analysis using the PayPal link below. Select whether you require the first time service or a follow up session.

Once this payment is received you will receive a number to send video recording of your swims to via Whats App or Dropbox - whichever works best for you

Step 2

Get a friend to film you in the water. We need three quality angles.

Number 1 is head on under the water. (seen in pic 1) (15m)

Number 2 is from the side of the pool as they walk, you swim - both sides is helpful. (20m)

Number 3 is from above as you swim to the wall (15m)

Step 3

Within 3 days you will receive your voiceover video via whats app - paused, slowed and examined. Technical best practices will be compared and a plan of action in drilling, cueing and in mobility will be addressed.

Length of analysis will vary from 5-10 mins dependent on need. This short is helpful in sustainability of implementation and in phone format for poolside reminders.

Step 4

You now have clear and concise technical gains to make whenever training permits in a squad or on your own. There is a follow up option after initial analysis to view changes or the next progression of technique which is advisable and affordable, bringing all the same benefits of analysis monitoring the execution of change.
